One such upsetting incident was witnessed by a caring, young girl in our community. The use of poison is illegal and harmful not only to the targeted wildlife, but also to cats and dogs and, to say the least, children may come into contact as well. We ask those responsible to stop! If you have found a sick or injured animal, please contact Ottawa Humane Society’s Emergency Services at 613-725-1532.
