Ideas for 2 The Parkway

A WORKSHOP to gather ideas for use of the property at 2 THE PARKWAY was held on Jan. 24 at Earl of March. Unfortunately, no progress was made. Residents who have constructive ideas about what COULD go on the property are encouraged to communicate those ideas to Ms. Wilkinson at Marianne.Wilkinson@ottawa.ca

Snow Removal

Greenstar has been asked to instruct their crew to blast their horns when on site. This alerts residents to move their vehicles from their parking spaces for snow removal. When you hear the blast, we ask that you move your vehicle temporarily so the parking areas can be cleared. Once the removal crew is finished in your area, you can then move your vehicle back into place. Please note: Greenstar Landscaping Inc. is not responsible to return to clear areas previously blocked by equipment or vehicles.

Salt bins around Salter Square

Please note, the use of salt bins by residents is not allowed. This is for use by Greenstar for our common paths and roadways.
The bins are here for the convenience of Greenstar when salting the pathways
Please refrain from using the salt for personal use.

Letter to the developer

In collaboration with a committee struck at the AGM to consider options on the proposed development, your Board has sent a letter to the developer of the proposed high rise, the Morley Hoppner Group, Inc., outlining concerns about the impacts of this building on Salter traffic, foundations, water and sewer issues. The letter makes a number of requests to benefit CCC77. We have also attached two pages of additional comments from Salter residents.

Parkway proposal update

There was a large group present at the Ward meeting and another meeting has been scheduled for December 12 at 7 (Mlacak Centre). We will keep you updated on details. ***There are already concerns about overcrowding in local schools. Why not contact the principals of local schools to note your concerns?
